My friend called me this weekend saying he got some huge scratches on his fender. So I stuffed everything into the car and went over to take a look at it and see if I could do something for it.
Anyway, it looked a lot worse that I thought it would be.
After a complete wash, here's the steps I took:
PC on speed 6 with yellow pad and Optimum Compound - had to use the big guns on this as it is pretty deep scratches.
PC on speed 6 with orange pad and Optimum Compound - 2 passes
PC on speed 6 with white pad and Optimum Polish -2 passes as it had some haziness still in the paint
PC on speed 6 with black pad and Werkstat Prime Strong to finish and seal it up
I got rid of most of the scratches, you can still see some the deep scratches though - it looks like someone put a heavy box or something on his fender and it slid off...

Then I finished the whole car with Werkstat Prime to protect the paint and give it some oomph.
The car still has a some holograms and swirls installed from a bad body shop's "polishing" but otherwise it is in good condition.
