    Yes, stock for stock on the track. I said "wait for this and that" to Steve meaning the X MR can be worth more power in time. It's only been out for 2 months how can we say what kind of power it's capable of?

    My confidence in the X MR is the sophistication in the drivetrain and tranny over the IX. I believe that all that makes for a big difference. It stops quicker than a IX, accelerates just as fast and can take turns at a faster speed according to a few tests.

    Of course there's alot of r&d for the x mr. I'm excited to see what they'll come out. But your faith is in a totally different tranny. The IX did not come with a slushbox, it came with a well built 5-speed manual transmission which I've seen handle close to 450wtq+ So, there's no comparison there. Your tranny may be cooler in the city, but in reality will get alot of thumbs down to hardcore enthusiasts at the track. Some will like it, a few will love it, most will hate it. Reality.

    Even if they make a high hp X MR with crazy tranny mods, most people would still stick with a high hp CT9a with a clutch

    I don't doubt the cars capabilities at all. BUT give me $40k and a viii and give me $40k and a X and I bet the viii is faster, more reliable, and doesn't cost as much to maintain.

    MR=fancy commuter package imo
