Mine sucks baby seals, puppies, and cute kittens. I'm running low on cute kittens though so I may need to clean my open element.

I don't think those HKS filters are reusable...

Dunno bout you but my box is sucking air from the air scoop on my FORGE box and I made sure to seal off any openings from the box itself. So my open element filter is sucking air from outside...like stock

It's like the HKS kansai. Has a larger scoop than stock airbox and the it sandwiches between the MAF and open filter. Removable top with dzus clips.

I mean it's not stealth by any means and it doesn't look stock, but I'd hate to go through all the effort that the OP did to suck hot air through.

For a second there I was expecting to see a bunch of holes drilled into the airbox ala Batman style.
I keep an inch and a half guardrail nut on a loop of 550 cord. It's not whiz-bang tactical, but one smack in the grape and it's coloring books for Christmas.

creative, but what did you do with the hole for the stock air snorkle? Did you plug it, or are you letting unfiltered air into the intake?
    Code:

    Scoop is still there.

That's still being used. You install it exactly like stock. The benefit is now the box isn't restricted to just getting air from the inlet size on the lid anymore.

With the infamous budget filter being so hard to get these days, this may be the next big thing.
