Beware of animals on the backroads, especially at night. I've had my fair share of close calls.
Also keep in mind the conditions of the road- gravel=slipping= slamming your car into a dirt bank=crying.

I friend of mine spun out his S6 up in the hills..Smashed right into a bank. I was in the car behind him, I couldn't believe what I was watching.
Patterson Pass Rd is one that I used to take when I lived in Tracy cuz there were hella traffic on hwy 580 & 205. It's one way road for 2 way traffic so it is little dangerous. But you'll have real fun if you can be aware of that situation.[/code]
I actually took Patterson this morning into work. Sometimes 580 can be a pain in the a$$. Only problem is the guy in front of me was pushing his escort to the limit  , so I just stayed back until I could pass. I had a friend who ran into a semi out there. Definitely keep your eyes open on this one.Originally Posted by dragon1976

Togues are rare in these parts...or are they? There is a great one here in Fresno a few miles up. If you are ever in Fresno, take 41 North and exit on Friant Rd. Take Friant Rd up to Table Mountain Casino. Make the first left that you can before you get to the Table Mountain Casino parking lot. Its called Sky Harbor. This Mini-Togue is awesome it starts at a huge uphill like a rollercoaster ride all along the side of the casino. Then you hit the lil mountain pass. Its a few miles long and you hit a culdesac in the end. If you run late at night no ones around, use your high beams though. You dont want to fly off the edge or run into that couple in the "parked car" with foggy windows. I took my Evo there lastnight with a video cam and it kicked very much ass. Too bad I had a full house, front seats and back. If youre in the area/nearby, check it out.
