Was at Berkely Hills six months ago, and saw a lot of cars( Mainly FWD) making runs up and down the hill. Canyons are tailored to our AWD and turbocharged Evo's, which would allow us to make runs faster and safer. It could also possibly provide a good venue or activity for future meets.
like touge in japan? like the anime initial D? sounds interesting but havent noticed too many canyon runs up here in sac. maybe towards the bay, like san jose/saratoga off of N280.
if there were any, id be down for some meets. not sure how well i would do, but im always down. highway 9/skyline in saratoga is prolly the closest ive driven on to being a "mountain run." that stretch of road is hella fun to drive on. on the top of the run, theres a little parking area for motorists and pass that is the top of the hill, "skyline" i believe...awesome view in the day, beautiful at nite. on clear nites, you can see bay area bridges.
