    they are only M2's. I think there is a post around here where someone got the M2's to pass, barely...

    Sorry I always get confused between the 8's and 9's because cosworth made it confusing

    M1 for Evo 8 = 270/270 10.2/10.2
    M2 for Evo 8 = 280/280 11.0/11.0
    M2 for Evo 9 = 272/272 11.0/11.0
    M3 for Evo 9 = 280/272 11.6/11.0

    I have put about 100 miles or so with this patch. So far so good! When I do get knock, it's just after peak torque, where you would normally expect the 4g63 to knock.

    Also, a new bit was discovered that disables the lean spool routine in the rom. This should be more effective than tweaking the start and stop RPM points.
