+1, may be looking into one as a commuter, heard that transmission is good for those whose spend time in traffic.

I disagree, that is bad after a tune. there is little extra capacity for engine modifications from stock. MRs can make almost a 80-100 whp more power without the torque capacity being overrun on the transmission. Evo is better bang for buck. All those ralliarts are stuck with only 40 whp more which is stock Evo territory on that Dyno. Now if they made a 5Spd then skys the limit , except maybe they did this on purpose so the little bro wouldn't pounce on big bro for a while.

I'm wondering if the ECU just has a lower tq limit on the RA SST or if the RA SST is actually a downgraded version of the MR SST. If the SSTs are essentially the same then you could hopefully use a MR ECU flash and raise the tq limit.

240whp (similar to stock Evo X) is pretty good for something that is cheaper and comes with an auto. If you plan to mod it then the SST sounds like a HUGE limiting factor, but for a DD it sounds like a great deal.

Even 210whp is pretty good for what it is.

I'm still not buying one, the X hasn't grown on me yet and I love the look of the 8/9.

*EDIT* Sorry, it appears they read 256whp on a stock GSR so their dyno is reading a bit high. But 210whp after a tune (GST dyno estimate) sounds decent, but if 250whp is the limit on the RA (or less because of the SST) then it doesn't make much sense.
