    Default D3X

    Confirmed..

D3x will sport an FX-format, 24.5 megapixel sensor shooting 5fps at full resolution or 7fps at a reduced 10 megapixels. Nikon made a few other tweaks including an extended ISO 50-6400 range but the body design, AF, metering, and main functions remain the same as the D3.

75mb files  That's only 106 high res pics on a 8gb card! I guess they better make a Portable strap on massive high capcity HD to go with it  So just by taking a quick glance I noticed that the D3x only goes up to iso 6,400 unlike the D3's equivalent iso 25,600. So night junkies still have the D3 and D700 to better suite their needs. I'd love to see some sample images for noise comparrison. If I am not mistaken the D2x used a Sony sensor as well. The Sony sensor thing still cracks me up.. So does 24.5mp now too. Well I guess some people might want life size prints though.... Of their house!
