Default Method 4/ DC Sports Evo X - Redline Time Attack Results

This past weekend was Redline Time Attack at Willow Springs, so we decided to join our first Redline Time Attack event with the Method 4 / DC Sports Evo X. Overall we placed 7th in the modified AWD group with 3 cars below us. The thing is the car is technically a street class car with the only modified part being a tire size of 285 instead of the street size of 255 or narrower. On the car we are running a DC Sports downpipe-back exhaust, DC Sports Intake, cams and a tune. That is all engine wise with the aero being completed by APR and their splitter with GTC-300 rear wing. We ran a lap time of 1:34.143 (however during a practice session we posted a 1:33.7xx and that is only the start. We are gonna start a build with this car as the full interior, minus rear seats were in the car during the event. So with some weight loss and more power coming we should be moving on up and making the car a real modified class car. So look for us back out at the track in the coming months. Overall it was a fun event and was a good start to see how our car and driver would fair with the steep competition.

Here is the X the last week doing it's thing in Street Class Super Lap Battle before the 285's.

Thanks everyone. We started tear down the day after the event. Here is what we have started with:

Most plastic is out, the carpet is on the way out. Replacing the drivers seat soon. And removing the air bags. Doesn't look like all too much but....it's work in progress.

Those times are extremely good considering your car is basically a stock car going against actual Modified class cars. I must say you guys have balls to race Modified class simply because of your tires. Your driver must be pretty damn good too.

Nice car! Looking sexy in white. Can't wait to see the progress!

you might wanna look at some times there in the street and mod class. In reality they were way better off being in modified as if they were in street they would have placed 14th overall in street and 9th in street awd.
