    Default clutch inspection

I am doing all kinds of work on my car. Going back to stock intake for smog.also installing a new fur o. But before i put it all back together i would like to inspect my clutch. I noticed that it was a little staging. I have the car up on jack stands i seen that close to the starter there is a plate that can be removed. Can i inspect it before i have too take it to a shop. And what do i look for?

You can certainly remove the plate but you won't see much of anything besides the back of the FW

There is an inspection hole you can actually look into that has a little rubber grommet type cover on the trans housing you need to remove.

You can't really see a whole heck of a lot but w/ two people if you know what you are looking at can get a little look at the TOB and it's actuation.

If you need further assistance we are here at the shop M-F from 9-6pm and you can pm if you need me to schedule you in for any type of diagnosis/service
