I have a rattle in my interior and I won't bring it to them and i'm stock.

Dealership is a waste of time with the EVO.

They won't acknowledge any of my issues.

    no way...not a chance

they want $100+ for a simple oil change
they sent me a letter saying its time for my 5k service. I think its over $300 for what amounts to another oil change and tire rotation.

I will be taking it to a tuner shop to have all my work done. I know Works does mileage service...I will be checking with Speed Element and EIP racing.

As far as I'm concerned...with all the horror stories I hear...I'm not chancing it. Last thing I want is motor oil in my TC, MTF in my motor, and wiper fluid in my transmission.

The only dealership I trust with my Evo is San Rafael Mitsubishi. But I do almost all of my own work on the car anyway.

I took my car to the dealer for my free oil changes, never again. They didnt use synthetic. The only other time I took it in was when my CD player stopped working and when my water pump exploded. Other than that, I'd never take it to a dealer.

i guess i'm the one of the very very few that goes to veracom. so far so good with them. they warrantied my clutch/flywheel when they found the oil leak coming from a cracked seal near the tc. the oil leak went to the clutch and the flywheel. they even got me a free car rental for 2 days through enterprise, and 1 day with their loaner car.

If I HAD to bring my car anywhere for service, I'd only bring it to two places: Speed Element or WORKS. Other than that, I'd have a much better peace of mind doing it myself.

My car went to Veracom once for it's first oil change since it was free, Works is the only shop that works on my car now.
