ok so when i do a boost run i start in 3rd gear and i only spike 18-19 and tapers down to 16. if a punch it in 2nd and shift to 3rd i will spike 21 and hold 18. i have a Dejon tool MBC. should n't it be the other way around?

More load = more exhaust flow = more spool and boost = more fun
So you are saying he should brake while in 3rd to hit 21psi? :P

i thought that you should boost less when you are going throught the gears because you are only at high RPM's and more if boost at like 3000. i posted this ove on Evom. and they think that the MBC is taped to the wrong place. the pressure line is Ted into the BOV line and the other goes to the waistgate. they are telling me to put the pressure line on the turbo outlet nipple. which is correct? i would like a higher spike when i just punch it.

i've had it both ways...t'd from bov builds more reliable boost imho....turbo outlet is too unpredictable in terms of spiking and seems to have more taper...

ok thank you, ill make a video of my boost runs later. i did one one my phone but i dont know if i can load it. it jumps to 19 quick then holds about 17 and by redline in at 16. should i just turn up my boost? everything was great befor i installed my DP. because i hit my fuel cut. so i turned my boost down and worked back up to where im at now. should i just keep going untill i spike 21 and hold 18-19?Originally Posted by ST
