MR Taillight purchase

I was wondering if anybody here have bought the MR tails and installed it on their Evo? :D Pics would be appreciated.

i will be replacing my front headlights for the MR . They look so good on a white Evo. :cool:

I wonder if there is a place you can get those orange inserts for the lights. I just blacked out my headlights, and i think those inserts would look sick. Plus if they do sell the inserts separatly, this would be a cheaper way of getting the MR head lights and tail lights. :wink:

every thing bolts up to it, the only modification you need to do is on the Fog lights. To do the MR you required a different socket, light bulb and a Y connector to hook them up.
If you notice the pic , the Evo has HID's. Pacman has them , i have seen the car and they look great . He installed them and that was the only mod required for them to work.

japanese standard and us standard light bulb for fog light are different. their bulb socket type is same as hi-beam bulb.

so you need to buy harness and "Y" connector to branch out from stock fog light wire.
you can get those from any autoparts store.

I'm holding stock fog light socket.

I used "Y" connector for just in case if I need to put stock one back.
Oh. don't forget to buy new bulbs. hehe

It's not their server. I've been blocked from viewing that site for a few weeks :( Jan has been helping me, but the problem persists.

i agree with you as well, but i have the opportunity to upgrade to them with no cost . So since that's the case MR headlight will add 50whp :wink:

since z1 auto offer them for 699.00 but they dont have them in stock. :? :?
