This is a crazy video. It's John Mueller of Road Race Engineering flying on the track and going off into the run off fairly often as well ;) . If you have never driven a car on the track or been a passenger, this video will be very eye opening.

He definitelty had his hands full. Looks like it has a small (j/k) understeer proplem and a happy rear end that likes to hang out on left hand turns.

The Mirage is what the previous generation of Lancer was sold as in the US (because of trademark issues).

This one is FWD, but there were AWD versions of the Mirage--namely, Evo 1(?)-6. :D
