Me posing next to a Porsche. I didn't have sunglasses so I was squinching my eyes.

I was there on Turn 7 with the car show. Only saw one EVO there;( A red one...

Some great races eh? Crazy shit with Dale Earnhardt....

PS Not sure why but the Racer's Group cars didn't actually run today:(

Nope, no sunburn!

I was covered in sun block..I'm a pasty white biatch! And I wanna stay that way..

I woke up Sunday morning at 6.15 am....I got dressed and got all of my belongings ready to go.

My friends and I got to Infineon at about 7.45...
Steve was at the Will Call booth when my friend Mel and I saw a ton of smoke coming from the track. We ran through the Jim Russell parking lot to see what had happened.

We only found out later that the mounds of black smoke were from the Corvette Dale Earnhardt Junior had crashed.

We got our tickets with a discount cause we were there with BMWCCA, tickets were ten bucks cheaper and we got kick ass parking with a hell of a lot of other bimmers.
We also got our own little tent with a tv.

We wandered around a lot and took some killer pictures of the racing.

We hung out near turn two most of the day except for the time we climbed all the way to the top of the grandstands..and boy is it loud up there.

We brought a cooler packed with ice and brought our own sandwich meat and ate that for lunch next to our car.
It was good fun.

These tickets were bought for me as part of my birthday present.

It's really exciting for me to watch ALMS because that is the kind of racing I'm hoping to get into.
So who knows? In a few years you may be watching Sarah Robins drive a prototype car.

Yah.. cool stuff. I definitely got a sunburn. The whole family did.. LoL! I saw sharkster's porsche. Nice car mang! I knew it looked familiar.

I didn't care much about ALMS. I was there for the World Challenge GT and Touring series. One of the Cadillac CTS had it's hood came up due to contact. I thought he was going straight onto the tire wall between turn 7 and 8.

Touring was great. Thumbs up to Pierre Kleinubing keeping his Realtime TSX on the tarmac while the back end of his FWD TSX got loose on turn 2. FWD drift.. woot!! LoL

Will post pix tonight.
