Evo X looks Ugly?

So i was trying to convince my wife to get the X MR to replace her DD which is dying.
And she said, it's so ugly, why would i want to buy that...... :shock: :?

Does anyone of you knows of females that hates the way the X looks?

I think a lot of our initial reactions to the looks of the X were that it looked ugly. But a lot of us have commented about how the looks have grown on us. So maybe it'll just take a while for women to get used to the way it looks.

Most of the girls I know like less hardcore sports cars like is300, bmw 3 series, old muscle cars, and I live on a ranch so I know a lot of girls that like big trucks.

Most of the girls I know hate on my car looks wise yet many of them still really like riding in it. Along those lines though. The craziest thing ever happened last night. Some random girl took a picture of my car while she was driving next to me :shock: I think its the bling rims cause on my way to class the other day, I had a older white lady give me thumbs up. Shocking really.

I really don't like it. Still think its a mazda 6 or something gay. I think mitsu and subie both lost the heart of the cars this time around. I hate the new sti as well. Just cause their younger brothers and sisters were cool doesn't mean these are cool too.

The thing you have to understand is that their moving on to a new audience. I like it and therefor will continue to evolve with the car and it's designs and will jump ship when I finally don't like it.

This is the part where you either keep your car or shop in a different category. But when you leave, others will join. There are people out there who loved their Suby or BMW, who now cannot resist the design of the new X and will buy one and join the community.

That's just how it works. Us old timers move on to different things.....

evos and subarus are generally ugly cars. If girls happen to like them off the bat without some kind of outside influence, they are dikes or know if they like it and own one they will be the center of attention in a community filled with cocks.

S2000s, celicas, anything with bmw logo, most acuras, women like those, especially asian women.

I am getting use to the way it looks, especially the white one. The only thing I don't like about the new look is that you have to really look at the car to see what model it is. Unlike the older models where you know if it's a regular Lancer or an O.Z. version, and you know damn well if it's an Evo.

sorry but the Evo is not a good looking car, whether it be the 8,9 or X. And to be honest, did we buy the Evo for it's stellar good looks or we bought it for the driving pleasure it provides.

The Evo as with some women, are an acquired taste. Looks can only get you so far.

I loved the look of the VIII & IX, but the interior was so ugly and plain, I couldn't ignore it by just reminding myself about the power. I daily drove mine so interior comfort and styling was pretty big to me.

Enter the X, I personally do love the look of the it, and combined with it's interior, engine, drivetrain features, it just makes it that much more desireable. It's new and different so most people aren't leaving their VIII's and IX's for it, but in time it'll catch on.

My wife said the same thing... She said that the X looks a lot like a lancer GTS with a bodykit (although I explained to her they are like 2 different animals...LOL!). She says she likes the IX more.

It's still growing on me.

I saw one in person the other day and it definitely looks more "mature", almost refined.

It makes sense seeing that Mitsu has regeared the car for a different target audience. So it may be a "looker" to some...but I think it fills that Mitsu wanted. So it definitely lacks the "bulging out of its body" look, but now is more subtly aggressive.

My only gripe with it is the way that mitsubishi positioned the rest of the line. The base lancer and ralliart look too similar to the evo in terms of body styling. To the un-educated...the stereotype of "overpriced econobox lancer" will be more prevalent.

In the previos generation the VIII and IX were clearly different than the base model lancers (in terms of the exterior)....the X doesn't have that. I know that if I bought the flagship car...I'd want it to flaunt itself a bit more. So that's one area where subtlety defeats this car.
