This makes perfect sense. Bose is world-renowned for producing speaker response that is utterly flat, so now they take it to the road.

Eh, I remember these types of suspension on earlier cars. Too expensive, added alot of weight. Only really good for luxury boats.

Well, big high-performance luxury cars like the new M5 and M6 have similarly electronic adaptive suspensions I think, so I wouldn't dismiss it as being for luxury "boats". Still, I think if you're trying to make your Evo into a "luxury" car you're wasting your time (and money).

Those electronic suspensions are there to keep the nice supple ride like you're riding on a cloud, and not induce the performance penalty associated with it. They're not there for pure performance.
