WW Evo X owners...heads up

So I got pulled over the other night at 4:30am (Sunday morning) for a no front plate in Cupertino on Stevens Creek over by De Anza on my way home from a bachelor party(fortunately I was the DD).Â* The officer tells me that they've been looking for an 08 white evo that's been "hot rodding" around in that area in the wee hours and has been eluding them....

I dunno if that person is on the boards here or not but if you are just thought i'd give you the heads up that they're gunning for you.

Yeah who knows...the only other car i had seen in 20 mins was the cop....Sure he coulda been making it up but I figured if he wasn't might as well put the warning out. Maybe he used the term hot rodding because he's from Michigan or something? I dunno

A lot of cops like to talk like that because they think they will plant the seed of "driving like a grandmother". I'm starting to think that a lot of police officers think that the car denotes the age. Their grade school psycology is quite entertaining though.

Well my coworker lives in novato and he said there was a teenager in a new silver X doing 70mph around a residential and flew by my coworkers 6 year old son on a bike......


Seriously, just because you have a new evo doesn't give you the right to endanger people. You may think you are michael schumacher, but this happened same with older evos. People think their car makes them a fucking hot shoe and they end up plowing the car into a ditch, house, fence, curb, parked car, people......cmon be fucking smart. At the very least go autox and find out what it can do. On the street is just plain dumb.....
