That's not going to help you at all if you don't also get wide rear fenders.

I agree. Most of your fitment issues with tires > 275 are going to be in the rear.

Not realy worried about bigger tires just yet, only worried about a cheap solution to new fenders. Maybe I'll run 275 in the front and a 255 in the rear 8)

In my opinion it kinda looks like someone just stuck a baking pan on the side of the fendor and said that would look cool and added rivets. I aint digging it and of course that just me 8)

it's all about fitment, i can't attest to these but i know aspec remade the garage hrs fenders to a perfect fitment. you might wanna check those out, it's about 300 for the pair.

it enlarges the fender about 3/4" on each side. that guy's you about 2cm which means you'll have to space most wheels at least 10mm.

also you mostly run into fitment problems in the front. the rear suspension is pretty easily cleared, the fronts may not always be so so having wide fenders in front is sometimes necessary. you can have a tucked offset up to 40mm on a 9.5" wheel in the rear. this is of course with the proper shaving of the rear fenders.
