I misjudged a u-turn of all things and curb rashed my right front wheel pretty badly. It's a 5zigen hyperblack FN01R-C. Any recommendations for wheel refinishers in the area? I'm in Palo Alto. Alternately, if someone has this wheel cheap in 17X9, i'd be interested.

I had a wheel painted in Santa Clara at Wheel Techniques, (408) 496-6363. It turned out nice, great work. I would go there again.

What did it cost? Do they do a good job filling in the curb rash?

wheeltechiques charges around 150-175 per wheel but they can do amazing things with rims. sometimes they weld onto the lip to replace missing peices of the lip.

Since a new wheel is $200, hopefully they can do somewhat better. I'll drop by to get an estimate.

No, I got a quote from them to color match some wheels to WW and they wanted $125 per wheel and an additional $55 for the color.
