both my audi tt's came with first aid kits, but no gender specific items :lol:
i kept the kit from the last car since it's nice to have around. you never know when you're going to cut something off while driving :shock:

FYI, maxi pads are useful in first-aid kits because they (at least the good ones) contain special absorbent materials that can absorb many times their volume in liquid (read: blood) and are therefore useful for cleaning wounds, etc.
Diapers have the same property but are more bulky and therefore don't fit as well in a first aid kit.
