Installed my A'PEXi Aluminum Induction Box and Power Intake yesterday.
It was $260 for both the intake box and power intake kit. They are sold as seperate parts.

Unfortunately, it's not CARB legal. I was actually thining of ways to make a little more inconspicuous. I thought of painting black or something.

The A'PEXi part numbers are:

507-M005 Power Intake
517-M002 Aluminum Induction Box

I think you can get them at Options Auto Salon www.optauto.com

If you can, find someone that can draw/paint a Mitsu. diamond emblem on it so it looks like stock and write something like "Mitsubishi Engineering"

Wow, nice setup! I heard A'PEXi filters have both good filtration and flow, and no oiling issue.

If the induction box covers quite large area, where is the air coming from then? Maybe between the upper cover and the body? I know A'PEXi did make it right so that tons of cool air will be going in, but I just cannot see it clearly from the picture.

Anyhow, please keep us informed how the sound the performance changes!

my guess is under/over the headlight....

I believe it is pulling air from the fender. The area next to and behind the IC sprayer bottle is open.

The only intake the induction box will work with are the A'PEXi power intake and the Air Impulse Intake from PE (Power Enterprise).

clean set up but only one prob that i can see is that u have to undo the bolts every time u run out of the IC spray water
