I've got a spray painted evo

I was driving on the road just chillin and all of a sudden a paint can come in front of may car and I hit it. It explodes and the paint gets all over the left side of car.....oo im pissed. On top of that its yellow. I got some off with some rags. Does anyone know anything that could get off spay paint, that I could buy at a kragen or autozone. I am avoided the body shop if possible.

man that sucks so bad bro... I dont know what would get off spray paint that wouldnt damage your own paint... what road did this happen on ?

man, thats no good..why do you want to avoid a body shop ? you have a fat deductible... if you have to claim your insurance rip out all mods and say that your car got vandalized and parts were taking :) haha

see if u can find a local detailing supply shop and see about getting some microfinishing rubbing compound it worked well on cars we used to detail that would back into poles oer and what have u that left makrs on teh car such as paint give that a try.

ask a body shop what they use to get off over spray? some shops r helpfull some aren't so check out a few.

If you are willing there is a pretty good chance a little thinner will take it off just don't rub for too long hehe.

One of my friends had a CRX that some jerkoffs waked around the entie car spraying sver on the new si blue paint. It took him all day but he got it off with gasoline. I would try that first.

A paint can is better than a whole wheel flying at your car and smashing the front end in. I had that happen to me and it caused $10k in damage and I was without my Evo for a month.

I would let a professional body shop try and get the paint off if your deductible isn't too big. Hayes Brothers downtown did a great job on my car. Give them a try.

OK i got off all of the paint by gas, it didnt look like it harmed the paint, but Ill wax it anyway

glad to hear it, deffinatly want to wax it though because the gas prob took off the wax also.

gas does harm the clearcoat next time use the clay bar, its a deatailers secret its probably the most amzing thing in the world if you want to see what im talking about go to mother or meguires wax and youll see . they use it to remeove everything and it doesnt harm the clear 8)
