Default " The Life & Times" Of Meeh Lucky IX On The 1320

It's been a long road for this Evo9 Mr and with 100+ drag passes I wanted to go ahead and break down the life and times of my Evo9 sprinting down the 1320 in various setups. From coming strait outa the dealership to becoming a 500whp monster it has been quite a journey.

And it go's alittle something like this

Starting off with a completely stock Evo 9 MR full weight no mods spare and tools in place

    60'...1.856
    330'...5.424
    1/8...8.417
    MPH...82.17
    1000'...11.042
    1/4...13.253
    MPH...100.59

    src="http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/ww36/Me...EIGHTEVO9MR.jpg" border="0" alt="Stock Full Weight 1/4 Run"></a>

Next setup change was just a simple off the shelf flash with a boost pill which netted me 275whp on a Dyno Dynamics @ 24psi of boost

    60'...1.826
    330'...5.254
    1/8...8.164
    MPH...83.89
    1000'...10.719
    1/4...12.864
    MPH..105.89

The thirst for more power and a faster time had me switch setups once again and here is a quick break down which netted a new personal best on the stock turbo with 330whp

    mods:
    Stock turbo
    100 Octane 25psi
    TBE / Catless
    ACT HDSS Clutch
    Walbro FP
    Precision 780cc Injectors
    Cone Filter
    Custom Tune

    60'...1.746
    330'...5.065
    1/8...7.860
    MPH...87.06
    1000'...10.247
    1/4...12.261
    MPH...111.44

And now to my first and only run with the ETS PT61mm Turbo Kit which netted me a mind blowing 500whp on E85 with a 3rd gear miss shift it still went 124mph through the traps

    Mods

    Cosworth Valve Springs

    Fuel System:
    Bosch 044 FP External
    Walbro 255lp Intank

    Injen Intake / UICP

    Exhaust:
    Greddy Full Ti

    Drivetrain:

    60'...1.906
    330'...5.145
    1/8...7.800
    MPH...95.47
    1000'...9.967
    1/4...11.792
    MPH...124.69

Is all that changed in the last phase the turbo and the fuel?

And did you ever get a baseline dyno read?

No actually from the 12.2 run at 330whp to the 500whp there were many changes just about a complete over haul and no i didn't get to do a baseline on the stock car.

    Cosworth Valve Springs
    ARP Headstuds
